North Carolina is close behind with 10.9%. As many families face housing cost burdens (paying over 30% of their income on housing), little is left for food.
Affordable Housing For the Carolinas is helping families overcome barriers by offering a mobile food pantry for residents in York (South Carolina) and Iredell Counties (North Carolina).
